It has been quite a while since AS-4187 has been revised.

We are constantly told to revise our internal policy/procedure documents, even if we don't actually change them; to show that we are being diligent about our responsibility an d accountability.

Surely the same is true of our standards. If they are more than 5 years old then they are academically out of date.
